Serpentine Cedar produces and sells premium quality cedar shakes to a global market of builders, roofers and contractors. The family-owned company’s mill operations are a significant differentiator, as is their uniquely sustainable harvesting and manufacturing process. They needed a way to bring that uniqueness to their marketing efforts and tell the Serpentine story to a broader audience.
NakedLens produced a 7-minute documentary style corporate video introducing the company and its products, showcasing the strengths that make Serpentine unique in the market. The finished video was broadcast during tradeshows in the company’s booth, helping to engage visitors and keep them in the booth long enough to engage with a sales rep.
Outcome: Viewing the video increased buyer confidence in this Langley mill, and warmed up the sales conversation resulting in record orders from the show. Sales response to the program has been so positive that Serpentine made DVD’s available for use by agents and partners that represent the mill’s products to their own customers.
